CHORAL WORKSHOP FOR ALL SINGERS

  • if you want to sing beautiful music and feel comfortable thanks to short and easy pieces,

  • if you want to make stress-free progress,

  • if you'd like to experience a cappella choral singing, 

  • if you want to discover or deepen your practice of classical music, 

  • if, in your choir, you rely heavily on your fellow singers,

  • if you don't sing regularly in choir and would like to go back to vocal activity,

 

      this course is really for you !

The works are short and easy, but you still have to learn them before the workshop. Scores and MP3 files are sent well in advance for this purpose.

BEAUJOLAIS

The workshop takes place in Alix, small village in the 'Pierres Dorées' area (golden stones), in the south of Beaujolais, 30 km north west of Lyon. 

 

We'll be singing in the church rotunda with its excellent acoustics.

 

In practical terms, you'll need to come by car. Carpool !

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

  • Our course will run from Tuesday 21 October, at  9:30am, to Saturday 25 October 2025, at 4:00pm.

 

  • Two daily rehearsals : from 9:30am to 12:00pm ; from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.

  • The workshop will end with a performance.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

  • There are many possibilities of accommodation in the 'Pierres Dorées' area (not in Alix itself) : hotels, B&Bs, holiday cottages, campsites.

  • We can share lunch in the restaurant of the village. Accompanying spouses are of course welcome to join the group for lunch.

 

  • Free evenings; we do not organize dinners.
